The official announcement was made by Michael Rouse, vice president of philanthropy and community affairs for Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., accompanied by some of the recipients of last year's 100 Cars for Good program.

Registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations can apply on-line through Toyota's Facebook page at (, starting on March 12, 2012, for a chance to win one of six Toyota vehicles, including the Camry Hybrid, Highlander, Prius v, Sienna minivan, Sienna Mobility or Tundra full-sized pickup truck.  Voting will start May 14, 2012.

Melissa Bauman San Antonio, TX - September 1, 2009: A Note from Harvey Najim
The Harvey E. Najim Family Foundation announces new Executive Director

On December 28, 2006, I started my Foundation by depositing $75M at Broadway Bank. Since I did not know how to run a Foundation, I hired the Wealth Management Division at Broadway Bank to run the Foundation for me.

In March of 2008, I made the decision to move the operation of the Foundation to Sirius. By July, it became obvious to me that I needed to hire someone to help me run the Foundation. I was fortunate to find and hire Melissa Bauman, from the AT&T Foundation, to be my Grants Manager.

Today I am making a significant announcement re my Foundation. I am announcing the promotion of
Melissa Bauman to Executive Director of the Harvey E. Najim Family Foundation.  Read More
